OT here but I need the expertise of those residing in Perth.

How much would a bachelor need to sustain himself monthly in Perth?
If possible, can breakdown into rent, transport, food, daily expenses etc?

Well, it depend whether you cook yourself or not, for my case. below is the breakdown;
Weekly
1) Food : 200 - 250
2) Fuel : 90
3) Telecommunications and house internet: 200 Per month
4) Accommodation : Free by company

Listed above is the basics and will spent xtra if you go clubbing or happy hour or maybe quickie .....

$280 rental for apartments and when I say $280 I mean old apartments. you want something new and flash it will be $370 just a room with swimming and gym etc... Electricity excluded.

Of course you can stay further away from the city and rent whole house for $310-$450 but you need to clean the whole place for inspections.
