Hi all. About the suicide threats made by the spouse who may intend to kill husband / wife and the child, will you make an effort to go and make a police report against the spouse? That is when the spouse said that in a fit of anger during the quarrels with the other spouse. Will you agree if the parents / parents-in-law want to make a police report about the suicide threats? Please advise.

90% of the women wanted to kill the man at some point of time. a very high percentage wants to kill the man during giving birth. there should be a policeman standing in the operating theatre recording the statement, waiting for the woman to say

"I am going to kill you"

or when you just fucked a virgin

"Arh...Its so painful! I'm going to kill you"

As a prelude to divorce, woman like to show cause for the divorce by getting a PPO and making a police report. Most of these police reports are ignored and magistrate complaints are referred to for some form of compulsory counselling.

Why are your parents involved in simple couple quarrelling? If they wanted to report the spouse to the police, it already signal a poor conflicting relationship between in laws and spouse which really complicate matters. Young couple should always try and live on their own for a while and have their own space to avoid problems like these.

No you can't the police can't do anything best is to send them to see acounselor and resolve the the problem. If physical abuse is done and you sufficent evidence you can apply for protection order through the court. Im speaking from my experience.

there are several family service centres, such as Fei Yue. Such organisation should be where both husband and wife should seek professional help from, when such spousal issues arises.

Go to the police, they will also make referrals to these organisations.

The Police can't do anything unless you can prove there's a very high possibility that she will act what she said.

Whatever it is, use legal action against family only at the very last resort because, only Family members will truly stand by your side when the world falls upon you, altro sometimes they don't show.
