It is a great place with big rooms, very nice swimming pool; they have a pub that serves western food and excellent buffet breakfast for Bht 150 per person, and there are small food stalls in front of the hotel that open until 4.00 am. Big disadvantage is that it is far away from the main road, i.e. you have to know how to take motor bike taxi from the main road. 6) If you are a newbie, I suggest that you stay in the hotels or guesthouses that are located along the main Song Teow routes. This way, you just have to hop on to any song teows and ring the bell when you reach your destination. After a while, you will become familair with the roads, and you can choose to stay a little outside the main perimeter. 7) Soi Diana and Soi Buakhow are good places to stay as the hotels are cheaper and there is a lot of happening go-gos, beer bars and FL at night. 8) Careful when you walk the street and take the song teows late at night, especially when you are tipsy or drunk; there are a lot of dishonest and desperate criminals waiting to pickpocket you, or even rob you with a weapon. Reached the city at around 2 pm and checked into Pasadena Lodge, at the end of Soi LK Metro, a dead end soi just off Soi Diana Inn. Cons of this hotel: Damn far inside to walk to the happening places around Soi 6 and Walking Street. No smoking. No tea and coffee facilities. No bathtub in my superior room. No eye loop to ID people outside your door. No breakfast. No free drinking water ( thb 10 if you take from the fridge ). Pros : small safety deposit box in cupboard in room. Wifi available. Have fridge with reasonable priced drinks. 10 minutes free on the computer. I got 40 minutes free after chatting up with very friendly front office girl, Emmy. Cheap in house laundry. DVDs for rent at thb 3 per day ( but no sex tapes as i asked Emmy for it ) and girl friendly. I booked 2 rooms, 1 superior for me and a standard room for FrancisT, who will come in later. Hungry, so went to a noodle stall on Soi Pattaya 2. The noodles tasted very good. Purchased some items in the 7-11 behind the noodle stall and took a slow walk around the area. The beer bars are opening. Too many beer bars here and there in Pattaya. To me, one beer bar does not look any different from another. All same same to me. Took a slow walk to Walking Street and noticed a new agogo bar without a signage on the front entrance and is located near the ice cream shop. Got a message from FrancisT and met him in his room. Friday for me ....is.... still a weekday. Sat and Sun are weekends for me. Weekends got less single girls ?. I thought weekends, on a Sat, got more puyings !. Never got drunk in Bangkok and Pattaya. That's why my big head had total control over the itchy small head. Better you go to Hollywood and sit near the entrance ( near the steps leading to the exit ). Single ladies sat on the tables to the right of the steps. Go on and go and score a goal with a puying !.
