Like to relate my experience of watching Star Wars here. Luckily I caught the premiere back home in Singapore when it open world wide on May 19th. As I was not back in shanghai yet at that time. Came beck here, my collegues happen to have 2 free tickets to a cinema 国际电影院 International cinema. Can watch any movie any time and valid for 1 year. So I thot ok good I can go watch Star Wars again. Cinema located at Haining lu. Went there on the 1st of June watching the 7.50pm show. The place looks a bit run down. Like the old Capitol cinema. Thot to myself nevermind free tickets mah... After getting tickets went in to the cinema, wah kao...the seats like all at the same level, wooden with a bit of cushioning. Then the usher say can sit where I like even though there are seat numbers on the tickets. But I seated myself back at the place allocated on my ticket. Beside me was 2 aunties chit-chatting, the other side was a father and son, behind me was another kid with family. Ok nevermind just want to enjoy the movie. Then the lights dim and the movie started. I almost fainted!!...The bloody movie was dubbed in Mandarin!!!! Obiwan : "AN-Na Jin, ni bu neng zhe me zuo..." Anakin : "xin de sifu, mei wen ti de..." I was cursing and swearing liao, make matters worst, the 2 aunties besides me keep chatting and talking not watching the movie at all. They would better off be in some cafe gossiping. The kid besides me was eating popcorn and the dad keep asking what he wans to eat. "wan a melon?""wan a sweet?" and the dad was like explaining to the kid see the flying cars, how the world next time is gonna be...blah blah....then the kid behind me was standing up n pushing against my chair and asking the mother what is happening, why this like that, why that like that....then i realised that day happens to be children's day too thats why they are watching the movie as well. I was with my collegue if not i would have walk out of the cinema liao. Anyway, its a bad experience for me. I thot International cinema would be at least a bit grand. Moreover they are also participating in the current Shanghai Film Festival. Sorry to bros out there to read my frustration... cheers nongho

dubbed in mandarin is damn hilarious, I cannot take it, that y i never watched hollywood movies there, better off with pirated dvds.

Have been to shan hai three times like to share to all bros tat are going to shang hai or station in shang hai a good buget ktv i felt, past few times i went mostly ended up paying quite highly for ktv fun in shang hai but after a friend of mine bring me to a ktv for fun the price tat we are paying made my jaws drop......
$200 sing dollar for three bottle of cheavis,plus unlitmited green tea through out the night! Of cause fruits and room inclu. The first time i went ask taxi diver bring me ktv kana chop, a few times also paying more than wat singapore is paying,thinking cannot be one wat, shang hai cheong more expensive than sing? Also found out tat the gers there seldom drink hard liqulor, so when the bill is cheap the gers there all made them drank, not spenting much time there so cannot sian,some gers no ta bao one,but when they drank we ta bao them. Learn a lot wif my friends there, if next time i go hope all bros here can also guide me along,just hope tat my bits of sharing here all senior bros here do not mind  The place i stay is at Pu Dong, the ktv name call (shi yuan ma ya) in pudong. Will be back there end of the year,hope can get more good catch up together wif all bros here till then, really pai sei if my sharing not good enough hope all bros here do not mind my bits of sharing just like to contribute watever i know,thank you
