Lucky plaza or Centrepoint in Nagoya has them if i'm not wrong.

Second Batam trip! Nothing much new to report. Found a friendly guy at Puri Garden reception, who organised an in-room "massage" for me while I was staying at a different hotel! And got me a S$55 rate at Puri Garden for the next night, with 2 breakfasts included. Available as guide but I didn't have time for that. PM me for his number if u like.

Most interesting thing about the trip .. my weekend cinta from last time wanted to go to Pacific disco, so we went there .. I still find the disco scary .. but she drank only sprite, and she was nursing the headshakers around us .. holding water with straw for them to drink, giving them chewing gum .. like taking care of them .. super kind girl .. many bros who like wild ones would be bored I think ;-p

Of course....as long as he can get commission, he can get u almost anything to ur room.

I remember some 10 yrs back...after the downfall of late Suharto, blur blur get to know a local Chinese guy. Very friendly indeed. Almost anything under the sun in Batam he could get it for u. Later we realized that whenever he booked accomodation (Hotel Melia Pana) for us, he booked it under his name. And hotel charges the local at a very low rates. But we paid him hotel board rates.

Sounds fine to me, as long as the hotel rate he's getting you is a good one. It's not like you could get the local rate on your own, so let him get a cut.

Bro i guess he meant he paid standard walk in rates at the hotel! So why the need for someone to book for u when u can get it at the same price ? Furthermore must pay him for transportation fees!

Give u an example.
Hotels (those budget type) in Batam are well known to give commissions to taxi drivers. The hotel i stay gives Rp20k per room as comms!!
So once me and 2 other friends took a taxi from Harbour Bay and told the driver to bring us to the hotel but we will not pay for the taxi ride cuz he can claim the comm of Rp60k for 3 rooms.
But he insisted that we still pay for the taxi ride!!!
In the end i asked him to stop at the main road, paid him Rp20k for the ride and walked into the hotel and checked in for Rp20k cheaper per room!!
