To begin with, Asia is very left behind about mental health. The "tough it out" mentality is basically be in survival mode all the time. This is not sustainable and will always end up in weird coping mechanism (sex, drugs, gamble, etc). At the end of the day, everyone tries their best to be a decent person for their family and friends, but very hard la in Asia, support system is a bit shit. Can't really get support properly, funny thing about this forum is, because we all admit pervert for joining, more open and more support here than in normal place. You can't talk about a lot of the things we talk about here in, say church meeting, you will be exorcised.
