Love can exist without lust (maybe not totally without but mediocre lust) as long as other aspects are in-line..

Yes. You are right. Lust is temporary. But sexual needs is essential to men. Different men will have different level of sexual appetite tho.
Love can exist without lust - Yes. But if you say "Love can exist without sex" for men, then I would say No.
When men have sex, oxytocin is release in our body which creates bond. Whereas, women have various avenues to get oxytocin. Men doesn't.
