fbi agent, uce 4599, posed as a sicilian mafia mobster, penetrated the sf chinatown triad known legitimately as the ghee kung tong (gkt) with its nameplate and emblem signifying the "free masons" of chinatown. this agent, plus a few others working in the sidelines, was so convincing to the chinese mob that they inducted him into their inner circle, including winning the total confidence of the leader "shrimp boy" chow. it led to the unravelling of not only the tong, but also politicians and old time city administrators connected to them.

and so the story and years-long sting operation unfolded. and american hustle 2 is made. watch out for the sequel years after the case is fully prosecuted and the guilty put behind bars. ;)
