To the two queries above - I don't think coupons are available at airport, but they are at both HK Island and Kowloon ferry terminals. Visa price depends on country of passport - Singaporeans can enter China visa free for a while i believe. Some other countries (Australia, EU) can get a 5 day SEZ only visa for cheap, while others, like Americans, need to pay full visa price even to visit Zhuhai, unless that's changed.
And now... Best of Macau Saunas I’ve spent an obscene amount of money on saunas in Macau and visited nearly all the ones there... felt I could contribute a bit on this, so here’s my entirely subjective “best of” list of the Macau sauna scene - it's entirely my own opinions, am sure others have different thoughts, feel free to post your own/contradict :p (1) Best Variety of Girls 18 Sauna at Golden Dragon - 18 takes this easily through sheer quantity, there’s 100+ on any given night, like 200+ on peak nights. You got skinny ones, fat ones, short ones, tall ones, pretty ones, ugly ones, big boobs, flat boobs, Europeans and even a few Africans. Runner-up: Darling 1 – I think around 50+ girls at peak times, probably more working overall. Less variety, they tend to be Thai, Viet and Chinese, with a few Russians and Koreans thrown in. (2) Best Looking Girls Tie: 18 Sauna and Rio. 18 is here because of the quantity – there’s going to be a few gems in there that will appeal due to how many girls work there. I think Rio has better looking girls per capita though. There was a smoking hot Russian that was taken up before I could get my jaw off the floor. Runner-up: East Spa - girls here are almost all PRC but some lookers. (3) Best Girls Service Darling 1 – this category is really more dependent on the girls you choose than the venue, but I think some venues may train/pick better girls than others. I have yet to be disappointed by any session at Darling and have had a mindblowing times there – has the highest potential to turn a session into a crazy porno moment. Runner-up: Sanado – have had interesting times here, a couple of the girls are wild (sorry, forget their names – their displayed numbers change daily). Most sauna girls in general stick to a routine, but Sanado’s is more interesting than most, with a menu that allows you to choose what they do. Sanado girls have gone off-script a few times in a good way also. (4) Best Show Sanado/East Spa at Waldo – pretty incredible if you’ve never seen it before. Both places have similar show concepts – they do the nipple lick, boob rub, straddle, crotch rub, etc… musical chairs style. Runner-up: 18 – the strip show is mostly half-hearted but the lineup is a spectacle itself. Rio girls are better strippers in my opinion. (5) Best Facilities Rio – it’s a classy place to relax and a place you’d bring the wife to if it didn’t have hookers and naked men around. It doesn’t have a separate sleeping area, which is a few points off. Runner-up: Excellent Sauna at Grand Emperor – this one is pretty new and wasn't too packed when I visited. I liked the décor inside – quite relaxing and looked like a nice normal spa. (6) Best Food Victoria Sauna at L’Arc – from what I remember I was able to order big plates of food inclusive of the bill. Most of the other saunas you have to pay more for this type of food. Runner-up: Supreme Sauna at Fortuna – able to pick one main course from the menu for free. (7) Best Value 998HKD deal at Sanado if you do the happy hour – leave before 5pm. It’s way better than getting a girl from the Lisboa racetrack, but selection might be limited. Runner-up: Supreme Sauna at Fortuna - I had a really cute girl from Wuhan, ate, etc... and bill came out to be 1588. Not bad for a place with decent facilities too. |

Looking at the list of sauna's on this site I have a few questions. Fugetsu ken - is that the same company as the one at emperor/rio/18? I've never heard of this sauna before. How would you rate it? Or is it Emperor after renovation? The address is the same apart from the hotel number. Is Windsor and Supreme the same company? And how do they do the showtime here? Familia Noble, Golden, Beverly and Big Boss. are any of these under the same umbrella too? When 90% of the reviews are from the top 5 sauna's it is hard to get a good overview of the otehr 15 HQ saunas in macau. |

Beverly had no show when i was there on a packed to the gills Saturday night from 10pm til 2am. No girls ever seemed to wander into the rest area - the lineup was called upstairs. Again, only went there once so might be different elsewhere. I also went to Golden Plaza sauna at Taipa - not a lot of reviews for that either. Am pretty sure it is under same group as Golden Sauna. Anyway, big thumbs down, was completely empty and had about 3 customers all night. Only 7 viet girls that are CMI. For the bro with question about showtimes - I've seen a showtime as early as 6pm on a Friday. It really seems to depend on how crowded it is. You can ask the management or door guy when the show is expected to be. For the bro with question about mamasan at night clubs - sorry I lost my card, but I knew a lady mama named Amy at the Dragon Nite Club. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She got a lot of girls for us, but my very cute Viet girl said she was really mean and all the girls didnt like her haha :p |

Pro tip for Macau - if you want a list of all the decent saunas in Macau, pick up a copy of World Gaming Magazine (should be available at casinos and in many saunas). In the back section there is a very good map, along with a list of all saunas, massage parlors and ktv/nite clubs in Macau, along with their addresses and phone numbers...
"Spas" seem to be legit spas, so avoid those unless you want to take your girlfriend. It's a good resource if you are uncertain about the location of any sauna mentioned here. Bonus tip - I was told taxi drivers earn a commission (charged to you) if you ask them to take you direct to a sauna, so I usually ask to be taken to the hotel the sauna is at/near instead. Not sure if true or not, but better safe than sorry... |

It sounds like I should just play it safe here and go for the well known saunas like 18/rio/east spa/sanado or perhaps supreme. Maybe I was just unlucky when I stayed at Emperor in early january and didn't find any of the three lookers I remember from last year. The manager claimed one of them at least was just on vacation. But that does seem like a universal excuse to get me back to me. I'm not sure about your taxi trick in Macau, but that is deffinately how you have to do it in bangkok. Those taxi drivers there are awfull at scamming. I haven't really noticed it much in the rest of teh region though, but I hear Manila might have some of the same too. |
