I totally get where you're coming from bro.
Dealing with this money stuff post-divorce ain't a walk in the park, especially with kids in the picture.

Look, first thing, talk it out with your ex-wife, man.
Be straight up about how you're not exactly swimming in cash these days.
Sometimes a heart-to-heart can sort things more than you'd expect.

If your financial situation is really tighter now than back when the deal was made, maybe think about getting some outside help.
Legal advice or mediation could be the ticket. They can help figure if an increase is reasonable and fair for you.

But hey, never forget the kids in all this. Have a chat with the ex about how any changes might shake things up for them.
It's all about keeping their needs front and center.

And don't hesitate to reach out to a finance whiz or a lawyer who knows their family law stuff.
Their insights might clear things up big time.

Stay strong, man, and find a way to sort this keeping everyone's best interests at heart.

You got this bro!

Thanks, I'm not close to the ex-wife. And I don't agree with how she spends the money.

I'm wondering if there are legal ways for me to avoid giving more.

hire detective to check her expenses.

Sad to say, ex wife if got money, can always hire lawyer and file you variation of court order and you will need to appear in court or mediation session. I think it might be even possible for your ex wife to ownself file and ownself represent ownself in mediation and court if mediation failed to save on lawyer cost just to make your life miserable and keep attending mediation court session. I know because I been thru and have ask my lawyer before there is no way you can stop your ex wife from filing.
