Can a person be charged if he gets AIDS when he is serving NS??

Like the subject says...can he?? Will go DB?? There might be some trouble if you got it when you are on overseas exercise...

but what if you have never been to any overseas exercise and you got it here locally...or overseas....

Any brothers here have any experience??

Anyway all these things are very subjective...what if you got it by accident?? Like blood transfusion...or I dunno...sharing a razor with your buddy and stuff like that...

Anyway if you go DB is count by years or days??

if its determined that u kena aids due to sex, they will charge u....go DB then discharge u....that's the SOP
if its due to unfortunate blood contamination then just discharge.

Attended a SAF Court Martial few years ago & saw a guy from Johova Witness (don't know right spelling or not) got charge for do't wanna serve NS, even as clerk or storeman. He was sentence 6 mths DB & after that still need to serve NS. The DB days are not considered as NS days.

do u think our SAF will want to foot the medical bills of these patients meh... they would rather distance themselves from them as far as possible...
