After the recent tradegy it's understandable that they take pre-cautionary measures. One bro mentioned that they can see you bonking yet the only way to do that is if the camera is inside the room.

Is this an exggeration are the cameras on the corridors or inside the rooms?

Hi Bro,
I think,
CCTV is the right of the hotel but, the contains is your own privacy, nobody can use it against us, unless the cops have a warrant from the courts and it has to be for serious crime not a simple cheonging session.
If the hotel gives it out to anybody they will be breaking a Singapore law.
The reason behind putting the CCTV is to prevent crimes not kill their own business.

My humble two cents.

in my own views, to have cameras along the corridor is ok. i mean they are also doing business, dont think anyone with right frame of mind would suka suka show the recorings to anyone. should be act as a precaution.

anyway, there are also quite a numbers of BIG cameras along those lorongs of GL if bros here still remember. those cameras are being watch by the HOME TEAM! :p

camera inside the room is simply too extreme. dont think those wls will want to be a pornstar too! :D

the Home team is veri concern abt our whereabouts.........
esp in the GL vicinity.:(
no choice la,take risk has been part & parcel of our daily lives.
if u don't take even small risk,better stay @ home 2 wait 4 death.

IMHO, as long as they dont put inside the room it's fine. Once they install inside the room i think it's invasion of privacy.

It is as good as putting cams inside the public toilet cubicles.

My 2 cents worth

agree once again.

i seriously dont really bother too much with the cam as nowadays, almost everywhere we go, theres 1 aiming at us.

Hi Rickman,

I hv notice that Hse 20, 22 & 24 hv the CCTV. I hv spoken to a WL recently, she told me that others may also hv installed but hv not so visible. She also told me that the recorded tape is kept for 3 mths b4 washing off. Maybe all this procedure is the advice fm Police. The WL say that they won't allow the CCTV to be in their Rm.

from what I heard, even you have you face recorded on the CCTV the police still will not be able to find you.

What a joke!

I guess it kind of common sense that it is located outside rather than inside.

I guess hurricane has already confirmed it is outside and not inside.

Lets move on guys
